Dr Harsha Ediriweera

Dr Harsha Ediriweera is a consultant psychiatrist at South Coast Private Hospital and is a member of the Faculty of Adult Psychiatry, Member of the Section of Psychiatry Intellectual & Development Disabilities and a member of the RANZCP ADHD network. He also works part time as a consultant psychiatrist at the Sutherland Hospital. Dr. Ediriweera first trained in the South East Sydney Illawarra postgraduate psychiatry training network as a general adult psychiatrist.

Additionally, he did further sub-specialty training in Intellectual Disability psychiatry training at 3DN at University of New South Wales and Prince Of Wales Hospital, Diagnostic and Assessment Service in Kogarah and at SAL Consultancy in Ultimo. He also works with military and emergency services. Previously, Dr Ediriweera worked as the consultant psychiatrist at the Mental Health Rehabilitation Ward in Shellharbour Hospital. 

He provided services as the consultant psychiatrist at the Illawarra Brain Injury Service (IBIS) based at Port Kembla District Hospital. His career achievements was becoming the Medical Superintendent of the Mental Health Service at Shellharbour Hospital. He is the Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at the Graduate School of Medicine at the University of Wollongong. 

In Dr Ediriweera's spare time, he likes to go swimming, bush walking and travelling.
