Our History

Established in 2005 as Healthe Care Australia, our organisation underwent a significant transformation in 2021, rebranding as Aurora Healthcare. Now, Aurora Healthcare stands as Australia’s largest private specialty health care group, dedicated to mental health, rehabilitation and specialty medical services.

Our Aurora Healthcare portfolio includes 15 private hospitals across Australia, all dedicated to providing exceptional patient care

We are the nation’s leading provider of mental health services, offering over 1,000 mental health beds and close to 500 rehabilitation licensed beds across Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, Western Australia, and the ACT.

Our hospitals offer comprehensive health care services through inpatient and day hospitals, outpatient, and community care settings. An experienced multidisciplinary team delivers innovative, patient-centred care, ensuring quality outcomes and prioritising each patient's unique needs and well-being.
