Professional background

Dr Phoebe Slape is a Rehabilitation Consultant with a special interest in falls prevention, geriatric rehabilitation, oncology and palliative rehabilitation, cardiac, pulmonary and neurological rehabilitation.

Dr Slape completed her Medical degree at the University of Queensland and has gained experience in rehabilitation medicine across the private and public sectors. This includes tertiary hospitals and community care within the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service, and the greater Brisbane region as part of geriatric and stroke specialist teams.

She also trained at Eden Private Hospital, the Acquired Brain Injury Rehabilitation Unit at the Princess Alexandra Hospital and Redcliffe Hospital. She specialises in inpatient rehabilitation and outpatient clinics, including the supervision of day therapy programs at Eden Private Hospital.

Dr Slape is also Director of Clinical Training, supervising the Queensland Health Rehabilitation Registrars during their rotations.
