Dr Saiful Jamaludin is a consultant psychiatrist with a specialist focus on Old Age Psychiatry, providing expert care for older adults experiencing mood, anxiety, psychotic, and cognitive disorders. He is committed to delivering individualised, collaborative, and holistic care tailored to each patient's unique needs.
Dr Jamaludin obtained his medical degree from James Cook University in 2014 before completing his psychiatric training at The Townsville University Hospital, with additional experience at Gold Coast University Hospital. His training encompassed both inpatient and outpatient mental health care for elderly patients, equipping him with a comprehensive understanding of the complexities of later-life mental health.
In addition to his work at Townsville Private Clinic, Dr Jamaludin is a consultant psychiatrist with the Older Persons Mental Health Service at Townsville Hospital and Health Service, where he continues to support older adults with specialised psychiatric care.
