Simone Dighton

Professional background

Simone Dighton is a clinical psychology registrar with training in therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and EMDR. Simone is one of the Day Programs group facilitators. 

She has a paper submitted for publication in ‘Autism Research’ titled: Camouflaging, Internalising symptoms, and Externalising Symptoms in Children and Adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Simone became a psychologist because of her own experience of therapy and valued the education, skills, experience, and resources provided to her. She wanted to share this with her local community to help people thrive.

Outside of work, Simone enjoys the outdoors including hiking, rock climbing, snorkelling, freediving, scuba diving, sailing, SUP, and Kayaking.
