Professional background
Dr Stuart Saker is a General Adult Psychiatrist who has also worked with young people as the head clinician in an Early Psychosis Service. He is interested in Veterans' Mental Health and is an Army Reserve Medical Officer who has previously deployed in wartime and humanitarian deployments.
Dr Saker is WorkCover and Motor Accident Authority accredited and does medico-legal report writing. Following completion of his undergraduate medical training at the University of Sydney, Dr Saker then completed his specialist training in the United Kingdom (MRCPsych). He has experience in both the public and private sectors and enjoys working with inpatients, outpatients and their families.
Dr Saker is a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in London, the Australian Medical Association, the Early Psychosis Association and the Australian Military Medical Association.
