Professional background
Dr Al-saffi finished his Bachelor degree in Medicine and Surgery in 1999, followed by Internal Medicine fellowship training completed in 2006. He finished MRCP UK training in 2012 and passed speciality certificate exams endocrinology and diabetes by RCP UK in 2014.
Dr Al-saffi has many years experience in General Medicine and became a fellow of the Royal Australian College of Physicians (FRACP) Adult Internal Medicine in 2018.
Dr Al-saffi has been working for Queensland Health since 2017 and manages acute medical patients with differentiated / undifferentiated presentations in a large volume. He joined Gold Coast Health in 2021 as specialist in General Medicine.
Dr Al-saffi holds a senior lecturer academic title for University of Queensland and Griffith University.
Dr Al-saffi’s interests include managing adult general medicine patients with various presentations, diabetes mellitus and endocrinology cases. He is happy to receive medical consultation referrals for patients admitted to Robina Private Hospital.
