Professional background
Riley is a Clinical Psychology Registrar at South Coast Private Hospital, where she provides compassionate, evidence-based care through both individual and group therapy. Holding a master’s degree with high distinction and first-class honours, Riley brings a wealth of experience from diverse clinical settings.
Riley’s experience includes psychometric and developmental assessments at Sydney Children’s Hospital, group therapy facilitation and behaviour support for individuals with disabilities at QUOVUS. Riley is certified in the Griffiths Developmental Scales and has received training in therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
Riley is passionate about understanding human behaviour, with particular interests in trauma, mood and anxiety disorders, and ADHD. Her therapeutic approach integrates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), ACT, EMDR, and Trauma-Focused CBT and is informed by the Internal Family Systems (IFS) lens.
Beyond her clinical work, Riley has volunteered with Lifeline, mentored youth through the Raise Foundation, and contributed to mental health awareness through podcasting with the MYND initiative. Outside of psychology, Riley enjoys running, tennis and footy, as well as baking and reading.
