Professional background
Craig Willson is a PACFA-registered Certified Practising Counsellor, holding a Master of Counselling and Psychotherapy (ACAP) and a Master of Business Administration (Management) from the University of the Sunshine Coast.
Craig has extensive experience both counselling privately and in working within the hospital, including in the delivery of structured therapeutic group programs for both inpatient and day program participants. He has worked with individuals presenting with mood disorders, substance use disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and post-traumatic stress disorder, and is experienced in supporting patients across varying levels of acuity.
Craig is committed to delivering patient-centred, evidence-informed care. He focuses on supporting individuals to build insight, strengthen emotional regulation, and develop practical coping strategies to support recovery and relapse prevention.

He brings over 35 years of professional experience across corporate and not-for-profit sectors, along with significant lived experience that enhances his ability to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
His clinical interests include anxiety disorders, depression, grief, personality vulnerabilities, trauma and PTSD, and addictive disorders. He also has a strong interest in supporting individuals and couples experiencing relationship difficulties and working with vulnerable populations, including older adults, young adults, and culturally diverse communities, including refugees.
