Professional background
I am a psychologist currently completing my Clinical Psychology Registrar program, with experience across inpatient and outpatient settings providing both psychological assessment and therapy. I work with individuals experiencing a range of concerns including anxiety, excessive worry, panic and social anxiety, low mood and depressive symptoms, trauma and difficult past experiences, stress and burnout, self-criticism and perfectionism, interpersonal and relationship difficulties, identity concerns, and significant life transitions.
My therapeutic approach is integrative and evidence-based, tailored to each person’s unique experiences and goals. I draw on a range of approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and psychodynamic therapy. I also have a particular interest in understanding personality and relational patterns, and how our past experiences can shape the way we relate to ourselves and others.
I aim to create a space that feels safe, collaborative, and free of judgment. I see therapy as an opportunity to develop deeper self-understanding and compassion, and to support people in making meaningful changes that align with the life they want to live.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time in nature, taking my dog to the beach, camping, cooking and sharing meals with family and friends, and travelling around our beautiful country.
