Cognitive Behaviour Therapy for Mothers (CBTM) - Follow Up Program
The CBTM Follow-Up program is for graduates of the 6-week CBT for Mothers program. The program extends and enhances skills and concepts already learnt by introducing advanced psychotherapy topics and skills. The aim is to prevent relapse by reducing the level of depression and anxiety in women by continuing to target symptoms and challenge distorted motherhood specific thoughts thus generally improving their day-to-day functioning.
Project art is a 12-week program suitable for Individuals who may enjoy creative expression and would like to improve their confidence using a variety of art materials. Mindful and expressive processes are used to connect to self individually and as a group. This program may be useful in addressing their individual clinical needs.
This 12-week course for Individuals interested in discovering how art making can be used as a reflective and therapeutic tool to support mental health and wellbeing. No previous experience with art making is required and patients do not need to describe themselves as artistic or creative to participate. This program may be useful in exploring individual emotional and psychological needs.
The Creative Therapies for Older Adults is a 12-week program designed for individuals over 50. Expressive arts are used to explore difficult emotions, ideas and experiences of life. Art materials offer participants a visual tool of communication and expression that can be explored, shared and witnessed within the creative community.

Managing Social Anxiety and Building Social Skills for Young Adults Program
This eight-week program runs on Tuesdays and is designed for Young Adults between the ages of 16 and 25 years old. The program is designed to assist with managing challenges associated with Social Anxiety as well as improving Social Skills. The program utilises primarily Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) based intervention strategies to provide practical skills for practice during the eight weeks and beyond.
This program runs for 12 weeks (one half-day session per week) and is designed for Young Adults between the ages of 15 and 25 years old. It aims to introduce the four modules of Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT): Mindfulness, Distress Tolerance, Emotion Regulation and Interpersonal Effectiveness. The program aims to increase skilfulness for managing emotions and building more effective coping strategies and healthier relationships.
The CBT for OCD Program is an 8-week group program based on CBT principles applied specifically for managing OCD. The program aims for individuals to learn practical CBT-based skills and use this knowledge to guide, inspire, and motivate themselves to set goals and take action that enriches their life.

The ACT Follow-Up Program is a weekly group that runs throughout the year, for participants who have completed the 6-week ACT Day Program or Evening Program. Frequency of attendance is voluntary. The program serves to consolidate and generalise the skills and concepts learnt in the 6-week course. This includes applying core ACT principles to a wide range of target topics and difficulties and going into further depth on applying skills.
This group program promotes healthy living and aims to help patients integrate aspects of both psychological and physical recovery. It focuses on topics such as exercise, diet, nutrition, balanced lifestyle, motivation, goal setting and mindfulness. The program explores different types of exercise in a safe environment (Cardio, Resistance and Mobility based) and then sets activities and goals to be completed independently each week.

It builds on skills in the introductory program and details how to apply ACT skills to a range of issues such as sleep, grief, relationships, procrastination, anxiety and depression.
This 12-session half day program is designed to provide a way to express oneself through different art activities and mediums. Creative Therapies engages a range of sense rather than relying solely on talking therapies. Art therapy can lead to enhanced well-being and increased self-awareness as well as discovering new perspectives and improve problem solving.
This 6-session half day program is based on the principles of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia (or CBT-i) and is designed to teach you proven strategies to assist with sleep difficulties. This may include difficulty getting to sleep, staying asleep, early wakening, nightmares or daytime fatigue.
This open program provides a structured application of proven CBT therapy processes. Participants will develop an understanding of their fear response and examine ways that anxiety affects daily life. Participants will be taught how to challenge the negative thoughts that maintain their symptoms of anxiety and engage in behavioural tasks to manage problematic avoidance.

It deals with how your current thoughts and behaviours affect you and helps you to create a plan for moving forward with your recovery.
The program is based on the Cognitive Behavioural Model of Addiction with an understanding that deeper issues such as depression, anxiety and trauma can fuel addictive behaviours. This program is therefore designed to treat both addiction and some of the common underlying disorders. Other therapies including Dialectical and Behavioural Therapy Compassion Focused Therapy are also incorporated. This half-day program runs weekly over 24 weeks.

The Applied Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) Day Program supports people to learn how to break away from negative thoughts, thinking patterns and persistent worries that are adversely impacting on their mood and sense of self. It also looks at how we can better manage distressing emotions and letting go of rigid undesirable views, along with exploring important values that we can use to guide us on how to respond to stressful situations.
Psychological Injury- Understanding Trauma and Recovery Day Program
The Psychological Injury- Understanding Trauma and Recovery Day Program supports people that are affected by traumatic events in their lives (e.g., domestic violence, sexual assault, abuse, bullying, vehicle accidents, war combat or any other overwhelming threatening events). It utilise concepts and strategies from a range of therapy models (e.g., Cognitive Behaviour Therapy) to assist people to better manage the significant effects of trauma.
The Building Strength and Resilience Day program is designed to utilise a range of skills from Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Acceptance Commitment Therapy to support people to consolidate previously learned coping strategies (e.g., from other day programs) and more intensely explore relevant life themes that are applicable to everyday life.

The Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) Day program is a 24 weeks skill-based group that combines techniques for emotion regulation and reality testing with concepts of mindful awareness, distress tolerance and acceptance. This program is useful to help people who experience symptoms of impulsivity, relationship difficulties or conflict, and difficulties with emotional regulation, anger and poor coping in stressful situations.
This program is a 12 weeks skill-based group that covers a small portion of the core skills of our Dialectical Behaviour Therapy Day program (i.e., 24 weeks) and explores strategies to manage intense uncontrollable emotions and distress. This program is useful for people with symptoms of impulsivity, self-harming behaviours, relationship difficulties, emotional dysregulation, anger, low self-esteem and poor coping in stressful situations.
This semi-open group program is designed for people who are experiencing difficulties in emotion regulation, impulsivity, frequent interpersonal conflict, and poor coping in stressful situations. Participants must have completed the Dealing with Distress Day Program before enrolling in this masterclass.

The Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) Skills Training program aims to empower individuals who have challenges in managing their emotions, relationships and tolerance of distress. It also teaches fundamental interpersonal skills to help improve relationships.
This program is skills based and assists participants to tolerate intense feelings and learn to manage impulsive or unhelpful behaviours. It is based on Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) principles and combines standard Cognitive Behavioural and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy techniques and for emotion regulation and reality testing with concepts of mindful awareness, distress tolerance, effective communication, and the process of acceptance
The benefits of mindfulness are well documented in scientific research. Mindfulness is more than learning to pay attention – it also implies cultivating an attitude of openness, interest and acceptance. Much of our incessant ‘thinking’ from worry, rumination or daydreaming is behind many of our anxieties, negativity, anger and fears. To be free of it we must first be aware of it, detached from it and consciously examine it.

In fact, the brain accounts for around 20%of our total daily energy requirements. This program is based on best practice principles for sleep hygiene and arousal management with the guidance of the latest research in sleep. Participants are assisted to monitor their sleep cycles over time and set goals for change.
The Safe Recovery Program provides a safe treatment setting for participants to gain an understanding of the impact of trauma on their daily functioning and learn skills to manage their thinking and regulate their emotional responses as well as fostering a support network. The aim is to assist participants to develop a deeper understanding of this complex condition, promote healing and resilience and improve relationships.
Using a range of evidence based strategies, the aim of the program is to build personal resilience and develop emotional physical health. Participants will be taught a range of practical skills to help ‘bounce back’ from stressful and difficult life experiences and get back to meeting the demands of day-to-day living.
